Whatsapp to End Support for Blackberry and Windows 8 Devices – See Date

A heartbreaking message has been sent to all Blackberry and Windows devices by Whatsapp. Whatsapp will end support for these devices before the beginning of next year; 31st December 2017. Although selected device.
According to a blog post by Whatsapp, the World’s number one instant messaging app will stop working for devices running Blackberry OS, Blackberry 10, Windows Phone 8 and older from 31st of December 2017. In other words, those using these operating systems will stop enjoying Whatsapp in 4 days time.
Some time ago, Whatsapp warned that the will end support for the above-listed devices, that is around Last year, which was extended until July 2017 and also extended until December 2017. Those who are aware must have switched to a new device which has Whatsapp support. Additionally, those using Whatsapp on Nokia S40 phones have until next year December 2018 to switch to another device.
Furthermore, the app will stop working on Android 2.3.7 and older from February 2020. Other devices like Windows phone 7, Android 2.1, Android 2.2 and iOS 6 loosed support since 2016.
We recommend you consider switching to another operating system/new device asides those mentioned above in order to access Whatsapp.
