Facebook Group Admin Can Now Ban Members from Commenting
October 28, 2017
In a recent development, Facebook revealed a cool feature which almost every Admin of a Facebook group wanted. These features give you the ability to stop or ban someone from commenting in the group. In other words, Admins can now turn off member’s ability to comment on posts. This should reduce the rate of spamming.
So now if you violate the rules of a Facebook group, you can be removed with just a single click. Additionally, it added another feature which automatically tags new members who join the group in an automated welcome message, customize by the Admin.
Seems like, the major update Mark recently unleashed focused mainly on Facebook group/communities. Asides the above-mentioned features, they also revealed a feature dubbed member profile. Here you are allowed to click on the person’s name which you will be redirected to a group-specific profile, where you can find public stuff shared in common or together and also the activities of the person in the group.
What do you think about this development?
